FELICITY HEATHER JORDAN
Felicity Jordan was born in August of 2010 into the happy and flourishing Jordan household. As a baby, Felicity was almost as cheerful and charming as her big sister Erica, though perhaps a little less boisterous and more observant. But when little Felicity thought she was being ignored or not given something she wanted, she proved entirely capable of disrupting everyone's fun with an ear-piercing tantrum. As a child, she had difficulty saying Felicity, and referred to herself as "Sissy" a nickname which has mostly been adopted by most of the people who have known her long. However, as Felicity gets older she's begun to be a little embarrassed by the childish nickname. From her childhood, Sissy has been surrounded by the bustle and excitement of her mother's cafe, and the little girl was frequently found beaming at and charming customers as she toddled around the cafe with her sister, who she was constantly found tagging along with. Ricky's adoration of her little sister is fully matched by how much Sissy adores and admires her, and as she grows older, Sissy goes to Ricky for advice and support far more often than to her busy parents. While Sissy began talking very early, she was very slow in learning to read and write. She also struggled in her early years in a primary school, with teachers reporting that Sissy she tended to forget assignments and do poorly on exams though she was active in classes. Teachers also mentioned that Sissy tended to interrupt classes by talking to her friends loudly or daydream and ignore the classroom events. Lee and Libby were slightly concerned by this, and wondered if the frantic pace of life in the Jordan household had prevented Sissy from being able to spend enough time on school. They talked it over, and Lee, whose radio schedule was more flexible, spent time staying at home working with Sissy on school work. Teachers reported that Sissy's work improved, and by the time her Hogwarts letter arrived, both parents felt sure that her difficulties had been handled. Sissy, meanwhile, was thrilled about finally going to Hogwarts, since it meant that she would be able to spend loads more time with her sister. However, that October, Ricky fell ill with a rare strain of dragon pox, which terrified and frightened Sissy, who had always thought her sister was positively indestructible. While Sissy did frequently go home during that period, her parents thought that it would be better for her to stay in school than return home, where she might also become ill. While staying away from home may have been best for Sissy's physical health, mentally she became terrified and frantic about Ricky's health, and frequently cried and became upset. To this day, she is atill a little overly concerned about illnesses and tends to take extra precautions against germs and cold. Luckily, Ricky's illness was healed, and by the next year, both Jordan girls headed to Hogwarts. Even though this meant that Sissy was finally able to spend loads of time with Ricky, she encountered new issues. Though she was outgoing and friendly enough to have no issues with making friends, Sissy began to struggle with her schoolwork in a serious way. While the previous year, Ricky's illness and Sissy's fears about it had led to teachers giving her a free pass when she struggled with academics, they were less lenient when it happened for a second year. Sissy received similar complaints about missing assignments and performing poorly in exams, though it was clear that she knew the material. Some teachers accused her of laziness or goofing off in class, while in fact, Sissy was constantly spending hours and hours on work, and struggling to stay focused on them long enough to complete them. She desperately missed the little games and helpful tricks that her father would make up to help her stay focused on classes and became somewhat withdrawn and upset when she saw how poorly she was doing in school compared to her friends. When she received a T in Potions and a D in Transfiguration on her exams, she was put into Remedial classes in both subjects for her Third Year. Because of her difficulties in classes, she was strongly advised not take the more difficult Arithmancy and Ancient Runes classes, though Sissy thought both sounded fascinating. This only exacerbated Sissy's issues with self-esteem and she began to be convinced that she was stupid and not smart enough to be at Hogwarts. With Ricky having left as well, Sissy didn't have a readily available place to go for support, and though she wrote frequently to her family and sister, she felt embarrassed talking about how much anxiety and trouble she was having in all her classes. The only classes Sissy really enjoyed that year were those that didn't require a lot of essays - Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology in particular, which she consistently received Es and the occasional O in. Sissy is also a very good flier, and tried out for the Gryffindor Quidditch Team as a Beater. While she overall enjoyed the year, she was very frustrated with her performance in classes, and though she is really excited about meeting her friends and getting to play Quidditch, she is dreading going back to classes this year.
