(but don't be fooled, because soraya loves her sister and would do anything for her.) in fact, soraya will do anything for her family - she loves them all very much. she has a large extended family, with the yaxleys being her first cousins and the malfoys being somewhere in the mix of cousins as well. she can be nice when she wants to be, but she does carry around a haughty attitude and that has given her some enemies. but soraya doesn't care. she's a princess and that's all she cares about. when it comes to love, soraya has only ever loved one boy - they dated for two years and broke up just this spring. she's still heart broken over it and isn't looking for a relationship, but maybe a distraction. libby jordan was a quiet child for the most part, and also lived in her head. she liked reading and watching the clouds and daydreaming. she was the oddball of the family, but it hardly phased her. hogwarts wasn't all that important to her - she did her work, of course, but she didn't think it was spectacular. besides, there was always something going on with harry potter, which began to make her not want to go back to the school. but she did. and she got a job directly afterwards, against the wishes of her family. that was where she met lee jordan, the man who would eventually change her life. it took some time before they eventually got together, but when they did, libby was happier than ever. during that time, she opened her own cafe - the tamarisk tree. eventually she fell pregnant with his child, which was life-changing. libby and lee married two years later and she had another daughter, felicity. libby is liberal and carefree. she had boundaries, but it does take a lot to get her mad. with her children (and their friends), she's very open and friendly. she loves meeting new people and making new friends and loves having a good time. libby always tries to find the bright side to any situation.

olaniyi has an interesting background, one that she is not afraid to share. her father was a death eater, who died as aurors pursued him for capture. her mother, a native to nigeria, gave her up to her aunt so that her daughter could have a better life and, more importantly, a better education. lani was a smart child and gobbled up everything that her aunt and uncle threw at her. she had a love of learning, and that love grew when she found out about what her mother had done for her. lani has two younger cousins, though they're both more like siblings to her. like her cousins, lani didn't the take the separation of her aunt and uncle well. but she managed to get through it and helped her cousins through it as well. despite her craving for learning, lani has had time for romance. none of her relationships lasted very long, and occasionally, she'll hook up with someone she meets at a bar or cafe. lani works for the ministry and is very proud of her work. she is a liaison between the wizard and muggle worlds, helping students who wish to enter muggle university.

here he is, ladies and gentlemen, the infamous camden phillips. alright, so he's not that infamous, but he likes to pretend he is. camden can be a real charmer when he wants to, but he can also be a prick. he came from a very religious family, who disowned him after finding out that he was a wizard. having no where to go, camden turned to the streets. it was there that he had to make a new home. he joined a group of other boys and they referred to themselves as "the brothers". due to his "home" life, camden got mixed up with drugs and alcohol from an early age. he always managed to clean up for school, but during the long summer nights... well, let's just say that he's relapsed a few times. most recently was toward the end of his 7th year. in fact, he disappeared completely from the wizarding world and found himself in a muggle prison. then he went to a halfway house, but now he's back in the wizarding world. camden isn't shy when it comes to intimacy, but there was only girl one to ever own his heart for an extended period of time and that was chloe nott. he broke her heart, not wanting to tell her about his drugs problems, and still cares about her. but he knows that he has no more chances with her. he's not looking for a relationship, but he does want to move on. if you mess with camden or someone he cares about, he's not afraid to fuck you up. he's come back more loyal than ever, so you had better watch your back.

believe it or not, digger used to be a selective mute when he was a child. crazy, right? sometimes he can't even believe it himself! these days, however, digger is outgoing and loud and talkative. he loves meeting new people, making new friends, trying new things, traveling.... he's nothing like he used to be as a child. he also loves his job as transfiguration professor at hogwarts. he wasn't sure he would like it, but when he took the position, he was trying to get his life on track. now he's so glad he did. digger enjoys teaching his students. he's always there when someone needs extra help or just wants to talk. he is happily engaged to emily marsdon, who also teaches at the school. in addition to his fiance working at the same place, digger also has two younger twin siblings who currently attend the magic school. he likes to embarrass them whenever he can. overall, digger is a fun guy.

there is one way to describe tristan and that is: lazy. he is a good person, there is no doubt about that, but he's extremely lazy and isn't very ambitious. tristan's favorite thing to do is lie down, watching the tellie and shoveling as much food as he can into his mouth. he's friendly enough to make friends with people easily and to keep lasting friendships; but he's not one to go out partying, so if you're looking for a party-buddy, tristan is not it. that's not to say that tristan doesn't go to parties, but he's usually too lazy to get up off his arse to attend them. tristan can be sarcastic, especially when he's working on his poems or drawing. he doesn't like people to see this side of him, so he'll often react badly to them if they bother him when he's working. as for schoolwork, tristan has no interest in it. he thinks school is a bother and while he likes to be there for the social aspect of it, he doesn't care for it much else. romance is another thing that tristan doesn't hold high on his priority list. he finds girls attractive, but he finds it difficult to talk to them. most of the time, tristan doesn't know that he's being flirty with girls, yet they seem to know. overall, girls just confuse him, but all plots are open.

bronson is the youngest child and only boy born to his parents - therefore, he is his father's favorite. at least he likes to think so. not that he cares too much anymore what his parents think. see, bronson used to want to please his parents a lot, but when brianna got pregnant and he saw how poorly they treated her, he couldn't stand it. bronson is very close to brianna and is highly protective of her. these days, it's him and her against the world. bronson can be cocky when he wants to be, which is often. he's really grown up and developed the last few months and loves showing off his body even more than before. bronson pretends to be the master of sex, but he's really still a virgin. his best friend, alex wood, is the only person to know that - and she won't tell on him.

sam stanley is the eldest child of the stanley family, with two younger sisters following after him. personally, he would prefer to be an only child; however, he does love his sisters. they don't have have the best of relationships, though. zanna and faye stanley are so different from sam, he has a hard time understanding them. he prefers structures and rules in his life. the rest of his family (including his parents) aren't like that, so it was difficult for sam growing up in that household. he had suicidal tendencies in his teenage years, though he never acted on them until after he was out and living on his own. he abused alcohol as well. sam was inpatient at st. mungo's for a little while and never told his family about it. to this day, none of them know. he tries to distance himself from them as much as possible. right now, sam is handling his depression quite well. he is also in a very happy relationship with a woman he works with. he's beginning to find himself content with his life, despite the rude things his sisters might say about him.

i'll start with the obvious ones
scorpius/ella: i think we have this sorted unless there are any major changes?
jake/lissie: what i have no idea what you're talking about
izzie/emily: she's next on my list, and there are not many teachers yet so they should stick together. colleagues, on good terms? emily probably still feels a little in awe of izzie, simply due to the fact that she's one of the younger teachers and was probably taught by izzie herself. but she'll be getting over that by now.
some other possibilities:
pippa and louis are the same year... they could be friends?
moira and scorpius were also the same year, but sad to say, he probably doesn't really know who she is. she and louis could have been on friendly terms though, since they were the same house and louis loves all his hufflepuffs?
lissie and louis are also the same year and house, plus i think they were prefects together? so we should do something with their friendship.
gigi and lily are the same house, just one year apart. they're both quite quiet though, so i don't know how much they'd have talked to each other... if you want some friends for gigi though, lily is on offer. also maddy, who will also be a ravenclaw, one year below gigi.
i thiiiiink lottie and zanna are the same age, though i need to check zanna's age - she's either 22 or 23. they could be an interesting combination though haha.
i am also really tempted to make a toyboy for izzie...

Emily/Izzie: EMILY IS SO CUTE OMG lol. izzie is very flattered right now. but yes! good colleagues sounds perfect to me! i think izzie would really like the way emily approaches her students and their learning and shiz - which is probably why she got hired, lol.
Pippa/Louis: omg def! they would be hilarious together, i think! they could be the jokesters that bring the two houses together. i mean that's a bit of an exaggeration, but you get what i mean hopefully?
Moira/Scorp: she probably knows him, but yeah... i can't see him knowing her, lol.

lissie/rupert - rupert loves his kid sister ok and he would hurt anybody who even looked at her wrong, let alone hurt her in any way. (laughing so hard because jake is his best friend.) i think it'll be like FRIENDS you know first he'll be like "MY BEST FRIEND AND MY SISTER?!?! ANGRY FACE ANGRY FACE ?!?!" (if he ever finds out that is) and if it turns out to be something serious he'll be like "MY BEST FRIEND AND MY SISTER!!! HAPPY FACE DELIGHTED FACE!!" okay sorry i'm getting carried away..but no really he loves her to bits and would do a lot for her. he thinks she may be mad at him though for abandoning the family when their mum died and for not even showing up for the funeral.
karina/lissie - could be friends?
charlotte/rupert - i have no clue how this will work out but he's around her age..maybe they run into each other or something? idk.. i'm just throwing plot ideas here..
vera/charlotte - vera is a fashion intern in the muggle world, so she may run into her from time to time..

HANNA! Ahh your characters are all so lovely I'd forgotten how much I'd missed them! Here goes... IZZIE AND JACK
Okay this pair is one of my favourite friendships on the whole damn site. They're just so irreverent and fun with each other and I just think their dedication to the students is so absolute, it's amazing. I know you don't play her much, but please let's throw them in a thread together for the beginning of the school year so they can try and plan things and catch up with each other's lives! Jack's growing a beard over the summer so Izzie can make of that what she will
ELLA AND CHLOE
I think Chloe's the only one of my characters really likely to interact with Ella - Lara's in the same house but she's a year below I think? And she probably wouldn't ever register on Ella's radar anyway. SO Chloe. They're cousins obviously and Chloe adores Ella to pieces. She considers her more like a younger sister I think and although their personalities are pretty different I think they're really fond of each other? Chloe would want to hang out and spend time with Ella as much as she spends time with her friends! They both like fashion I think so maybe we could do a thread where they're dress shopping for the twins' birthday or something?
GIGI AND LARA
I love this pair - their friendship is so tentative but I really like that they've managed to find somebody who isn't going to pry. I think they both possess an unusual maturity (although for different reasons and in different ways) so they struggle to connect with their own age group, but actually get along very well with each other. Maybe they can be potions partners or something? Lara would like that, it would be nice not to have to share a cauldron with some chattering idiot who's going to tease her for never saying a word.
MOIRA AND MOLLY
Okay so I haven't got Molly's app up yet, but she's next on my list! They'd have been in the same house and I always pictured the Hufflepuff girls in that year as running a tight-knit clan, since they're all so lovely and loyal to each other. Their stance on sex is immeasurably different so I definitely understand if that would put Moira off Molly, but Molly adores her friend and will be worrying about her. It's up to you whether you want Molly to know anything about what happened! If she did she'd be a great deal more supportive than she gives herself credit for, and she'd definitely forgo any night out to spend it in catching up with Moira. She'd try her very best to keep her spirits up and would adore her son too and probably be clamouring for any chance to spend time with him since Molly is big on babies. If you don't want her to know at all then that's totally fine too! Molly will guess that something very big is up and she'll pester Moira probably to let her in even a little so Moira might have to shut her down firmly. She just loves her friends and she wants to fix their problems wherever and whenever she can

MY ANGELS okay this family is just the best. The utmost bestest. Jack loves Lissie and is trying so, so hard to be a cool big brother whilst also playing the role of guardian and making sure she's happy and healthy and surviving alright having to live with him. He worries that he's not providing the best living situation since his house is empty so much, and he's terrified of what will happen once she graduates and he can't spot her in the Hogwarts hallways to check she's got a smile on. He's immensely proud of her too for how well she's coping with the situation, and is a little in awe of her in all honesty. That might just be because he's never had firsthand experience of a teenage girl going through puberty before (which he's actually grateful for in a weird way because now he can receive the news that a girl won't be attending class due to period pains without an iota of embarrassment unlike most grown men). ANYWAY I would adore a Hewer thread if you guys wanted one!! I was talking to Brooke about it actually. Can Jack chivy them all into doing a family outing or something? He really wants to go to the zoo. They can pick a really sunny day and even invite George (who won't come) and get ice cream and stroll around and look at ALL the animals. Like you said I have work experience this week but I do have Tuesday free and the evenings, so I can probably squeeze in replies to a group thread! I won't have many going on so it should be alright, and I'll be done by Friday (: And I think that's pretty much all I've got? If you can think of anything else just let me know! The characters I'm bringing back for reference are Jack, Chloe, Lysander, Lara, and Molly - I think these are all the relationships, but I've almost certainly missed a couple! |

Izzie/Jack: they seriously are! and i completely agree with you! they do have a certain dedication to the students that's nice. i love them together to much! and Izzie will totally make fun of Jack's facial hair. she'll be laughing at him with the students, doodling on old pics of him, etc. ;]
Ella/Chloe: okay we never thread these two much and that's really sad. Ella loves her cousin so much; and she admires her and thinks she's so pretty and perfect. they need to hang out more and DEF go shopping. Ella wants to look second best at that party (Chloe must look best first, after all. ;] ) so i would totally be down for threading them or whatever. but we need to because i love them!
Ella/Lara: tbh, Ella probably has noticed her. she grew up a social butterfly, so she notices people. they might've spoken in the past, but idk. if it's something you're willing to explore, so am i! i love lara. she's adorable!
Gigi/Lara: CAN I JUST SAY HOW HAPPY I AM THAT GIGI HAS HER FRIEND BACK?!?!! potion partners would be fabulous! Gigi would like that, too. and maybe they can write each other over the summer? i think that might make them both feel good.
Moira/Molly: no, no! Moira doesn't really judge people. in fact, after what happened to her, she'd kill to be like Molly... careless (almost) and just okay with it. she's not completely over what happened and she has no idea how she'll react to sex next time it comes into her life. but anyway. i think Moira might tell Molly (and Vera) what happened... but it has to be at the right moment. and she would definitely want them to get to know her son first, you know? i mean, he's 15 months or something right now, so that's enough time... but she wouldn't have said anything to anyone (except Tommy) before she had the baby. doesn't want anyone to judge him... but we should def thread them!
Lissie/Jack: omg these two though. Lissie thinks Jack rocks, so he's doing a great. he doesn't need to worry - though it is cute! (Lissie is happy to have helped him over that hurdle, btw. ;] ) she loves messing with Jack just too see him squirm. YES LETS DO A FAMILY THREAD AT THE ZOO. that would be so amazing! we should do itttt!
