okay so here we have jack hewer, current head of gryffindor and defence against the dark arts professor at hogwarts. he's very friendly and charming, happy to talk to anybody and excellent at listening to all problems whether they're big or small. he'll be the first to wade into a fight to break it up but also the last left trying to get to the bottom of why the opponents wanted to throw punches in the first place. he's got three younger brothers and a younger sister (of whom he is now the guardian) so he's a pretty natural leader and used to being the responsible one in a group - but that doesn't mean he doesn't like to kick back and relax whenever he can find the opportunity. i'd love some friends for him - as many as possible actually! - from all walks of life, since he's always been very open and willing to get to know anybody. come at him in this regard, seriously, the more the merrier. old school friends, colleagues, random people he met getting coffee, anything! enemies are all well and good too; maybe he beat your character out for a job or they just find his relentless optimism and loud nature really annoying, totally understandable. as for lovers - well, as mentioned above, he's his little sister's guardian so he's extremely cautious about this now, and is especially determined not to hook up with fellow hogwarts staff because he thinks it would be very embarrassing for both him and lissie. unfortunately jack's pretty free and easy with his heart, and wears it on his sleeve, so there's no guarantee he's going to be able to stick to his guns in this regard... hey hey hey here's chloe! think typical blonde rich girl and you've basically got chloe. she's a little princess and has had everything served to her on a silver platter her entire life, but has managed to come out as a genuinely nice person despite this. she makes all sorts of gaffes naturally because she struggles to compute the idea that not everybody has had the privileges she has had, but her heart is solid gold and she's always mortified if she realises that she's hurt your feelings. she's pretty fierce about her friends and once you make it into her circle she'll love you until you die - but she's quite protective of her group too and tends to get possessive and annoyed when someone she doesn't know is trying to make it into the circle. basically she's got everything in her life perfect and she's not up for anything that might change that! so for friends, if you were in gryffindor in her year group you're definitely in if you want to be! and to be fair most of the other houses in her year group (especially slytherins since that was where her twin brother was) are in too. younger or older purebloods she'll have known as a child most likely so they can definitely get in there too. anybody else personally i'd love because i want more friends with her in the wider world, although she might be a trifle reluctant - she'll be unerringly polite though of course, she's been brought up right! as for lovers i'd give my eye-teeth for a plot here, since she's had one single relationship that was long term and yet she hung onto her virginity for all she was worth, so a silly flirtation would be fun here but she's not going to put out apart from for a really deep long term relationship. also, you know, you'd be competing with her dad and brother (aka her favourite men in entire world) just so you know what you're getting in for! finally enemies i'm sure are manyfold because she's often careless with what she's saying and also lives a very privileged life which naturally attracts much dislike, especially since she doesn't really realise how lucky she's been and can be quite annoying (although i do hope not obnoxious) about it just because other lifestyles don't really register with her.

this is lara who i'd forgotten that i loved as much as i do so basically i just want to curl up around her and cry but also throw into threads with you lovely lot! which i appreciate is going to be tricky because she's pretty much the least talkative person on the planet. she never ever lets anything of what she's feeling show because it makes her uncomfortable to give people the power of knowing. so she basically sits with a blank face staring at you as you talk. if you're willing to try to pry beneath that then you'll find a very lonely and uncertain little girl who's been abandoned by most of the people she loves and is basically just trying to navigate teenage hormones and a fairly isolated upbringing without letting anybody see how difficult she's finding it. she probably comes off as very snooty and rude, but in truth she just doesn't really know how to communicate with those around her. friends i realise are going to be difficult and i'm afraid i doubt any very boisterous personality is going to get through to her because they intimidate her and make her clam up even more. a similarly thoughtful and quiet character would be great if they got paired up in class or something and got talking? anything you can think of really. again lovers are going to be tricky since she has zero idea what to do with boys even if she started liking one, and is naturally very distrustful of blokes in general since she's been abandoned by most of the ones she's known. but if you have a boy who wants to give it a shot then that would be great! i'm not sure many would notice her since she's so quiet but maybe...! and finally enemies which i'm sure exist - she's quite weird i think which tends to attract dislike. she'd definitely never get caught up in any fights - she'd just ignore any insults and walk away - but you can be sure she'll plot revenge and execute it very calmly and matter-of-factly!

this guy is none other than lysander scamander. shy as fuck around girls he doesn't know, ly is one of those people who lives life with a thoroughly single-minded determination. he's inherited his mother luna's absent attitude to life in a slightly different way - rather than being dreamy, lysander just focuses on one thing to the exclusion of all others and quite simply doesn't notice that he might not be doing things or behaving in ways he's expected to. this was most apparent at hogwarts when he just didn't show up to lots of lessons - not out of laziness or naughtiness, he just had a bunch of other stuff to be getting on with. i imagine friends are fairly few, although he did grow up alongside the potter-weasley clan and knows a few of them i expect. he's just a bit rubbish at being social and only does so when his brother drags him along to events. he is a really sweet guy once you pick past the distracted outer shell, and a very loyal friend. he's also great to have at parties because once he's got a few drinks in him he becomes really reckless and hilarious, and will be the first in line to attempt any dumb idea somebody suggests. lovers will be tricky since his attitude to girls is basically he either doesn't notice they're present or he does and gets incredibly shy and tongue-tied and blushes like a loon. girls frighten him to be quite honest with you. but if somebody wants to try to batter past that then fab! and finally enemies - i'm expecting there to be quite a lot of these. ly just doesn't really have a filter, he says what he thinks and often can be terribly blunt. he'll zone out of conversations when they bore him and only interject to dismiss somebody when he knows they're wrong about something, and just generally doesn't make any effort to make himself likeable. fortunately he's not a nasty guy at all - he's actually very sweet when he's not distracted by some kind of weird magical creature - so he never cuts people down just for the sake of it. he's just really absent-minded. this is my little darling molly, who's having a bit of a tough time right now. she's just graduated from hogwarts where she had a reputation as a very promiscuous young lady, and has slept with most of the (of age) male population of hogwarts i expect - if they're good-looking, obviously. or she was drunk. she's a very caring person who'd kill for her friends and family and is always up to give somebody a cuddle to cheer them up, and is really good at including new people and making them feel welcome. so for friends it's wide open! she's confident and generally a really cheerful person who just likes to kick back and have a good time, so if you think they'd get along, hit me up! molly's always up for new friends. enemies i imagine are manyfold - she's not a bitch but she doesn't have a problem flirting/going after guys who are taken (if she wants them she wants them she doesn't think beyond that) so i'm certain that has rightfully earned her a fair amount of hate over the years. also her attitude to sex isn't always a popular one, so. finally lovers - things are a bit snarled up here. she made a massive mess of everything by sleeping with teddy lupin last summer, and has fucked up further by realising that she actually likes him a whole lot. she's pretty cut up over this because most of her family consider her a real bitch for going after the guy her cousin victoire was engaged to, but molly doesn't see it that way. when she slept with teddy, he and victoire were long over and molly never intended it to be more than a one night (/afternoon) stand. but then she realised they were actually pretty good together and that teddy was pretty swell. for now they're just friends, but molly has really dialed back her promiscuity, so i don't think she'll be making any new acquaintances this way. however past flings, fucks, fuck-buddies, that's all wide open! this is my new baby letha and i'd love to throw her into the mix! she's a sixth year gryffindor who's very used to being the centre of attention and is willing to pull really stupid stunts to get it. beneath the surface she's smart as hell, and despite the intensely gryffindor front she projects she's slytherin as hell underneath. she's hedonistic and indolent, yes, but also manipulative and cunning as hell. you pull a fast one on her, she'll laugh it off at the time but certainly get revenge later on. she's basically a creature of whim at her core - she does things because it suddenly occurs to her they'd be fun. whether this is partying, doing something reckless, or backchatting a teacher out of the blue; almost everything she does is random apart from her plots for revenge. in terms of friends - it's pretty hard to gain her respect, but once you have it you have a firm, loyal friend who'll fight for you and beside you any time you ask it of her. she's funny and bold and the sort of person who makes things happen, and really does put that side of herself to the fore (very very few people understand what she's like underneath), so i'd like to think she has quite a few friends? if you think your character might get along with her then please go for it! enemies are probably more on her end because often if she considers you an enemy she's not going to let you know in case you foil her plots to get back at you. all the same anybody she's screwed with in the past probably hates her, and she's pretty careless with the cutting remarks so i imagine there are quite a few people she's put down in the past who now hate her for it. finally lovers - i have a plot i'm hoping to play out here so check out her want ad if you're interested! but apart from that she's quite flirty and definitely pretty, and although she's never had sex i think a couple of snogs in broom cupboards isn't unlikely, along with maybe a couple of short-term boyfriends? i think she lives far too much in the moment for relationships to really last with her, but if your character might have been willing to date her that's great! Jack looks like a sweetheart. I put in Victoire's application that she was putting in applications for teaching assistant positions at Hogwarts, so they could have a kind of pre-interview interview or something?

(you're not wrong, perry!  ) ellie, i'm posting with my future characters as well as my only current one: emily and jack are friends, right? i mean, jack may potentially also have been emily's teacher in her final years at hogwarts, depending on when he started (she's 24 now) and would therefore have known her as a bit of a livewire (though probably not quite the troublemaker she was when she was younger). she was also a gryffindor. i remember them getting on pretty well, if you want to keep that? jack would still be teaching louis. louis is a little better behaved than he used to be, but not really any less lazy. he's probably an infuriating student to have because he's actual quite bright, he just doesn't bother. he's also a sweetheart though, as you know, so i can't imagine jack actually disliking him... he would also be teaching lily. lily is a good student for the most part, though she tends to do a lot of daydreaming and sometimes forgets about her homework. dada isn't her best subject (she's scared of the dark arts) but she tries hard. she's probably still taking it in sixth year so as not to disappoint her dad. idk about any of the others... he would also have taught scorpius, but i doubt they'd have had much to do with each other outside of lessons. jake is buddies with rupert and has also met lissie on occasion. hanna and i are keeping that little bit of history, so there is also the thing that jake actually kissed lissie, but nobody knows about that. jack probably knows about jake's prison history, and by this time (if he talks to rupert) he may well also know that jake has a child. i think that's probably all. seth and ricky were in his house but have both left school now. jethro overlapped with him at hogwarts i think (also in the same house) but only by like a year or something. |

well, as of now all i can think of is karina and rupert. rupert is his brother, and he looks up to jack a LOT. i imagine them to have a good sibling relationship, yeah? also i can't remember exactly, but didn't jack used to work with dragons? then there's karina..idk how these would interact..she's in his house and that's about it  |

OKAY first of all my apologies - I didn't realise anybody had posted in here and then I wanted to get my current characters up and going before I settled down to any proper plotting! But I have achieved that now and have two more in the works so hopefully I'll have my full complement before long.

You are absolutely correct! And that's so wonderful about Victoire - Jack is close friends with the headmistress, so it's likely he'd get asked to do things like vet potential candidates! I think they are quite compatible actually in this regard because they're both loud and not afraid to talk over each other and definitely up for a good laugh whenever possible. Since she was a Gryffindor Jack would definitely sort of umbrella her into his pack as he thinks of it (he wishes he was cool enough to have an actual pack) and if it was okay with her and he had a problem with one of his Gryffindor students that he couldn't figure out alone he'd come to her, since he'd trust her to make a good decision about it? He'd feel weird going to somebody outside the house about it, but you know he's a guy he's going to need female advice pretty regularly.
LOUIS AND JACK
You're right, Jack would definitely not dislike him! He dislikes very few students to be honest, he just - like you've said - finds some of them frustrating. He'd push Louis as hard as he could in DADA because he'll be aware now that he's totally capable of getting higher marks than he does, and would definitely not be above giving him firm talking-tos if he underachieves too drastically too often. I doubt Louis would care much, but Jack would still try! But he'd like his spirit and appreciate his kindness

Jack's going to be so pissed off about Jake. On the one hand, he really wants to be a cool brother/guardian and not get in Lissie's business, especially not romantically. On the other hand, Jake has a kid. And has been in prison. Jack's going to do his level best to give Jake the benefit of the doubt if he ever finds about him and Lissie, but he's also going to be watching like a tiger. The minute Lissie shows the minutest sign of being less than happy he'll be in like a shot. BUT for now he's merrily oblivious and just grateful Lissie seems to be showing no sign of making heart eyes at any of the boys in Hogwarts! Plus Jack doesn't mind him at all being one of Rupert's friends, but then he considers Rupert entirely capable of looking after himself, whereas Lissie is still a child in Jack's eyes and there's a big difference between being friends with an ex-convict and wanting to be making out with one!
THE OTHERS
I agree, I doubt there's a huge amount of overlap! He'd probably know Jethro and stop him for a chat if they bumped into each other, but I doubt they were close enough to be actively seeking out each other's company?

YES I think all the Hewers (bar George) have a really good relationship? I imagine the boys as just being so laddish, and Jack loves spending time with Rupert but at the same time doesn't want to be the uncool big brother who tries to hang out with his mates, so he'd most of the time be letting Rupert come to him rather than the other way around! We should do a thread with Jack and Rupert and Charles at some point in a bar or something so they can get happily drunk and tell embarrassing stories about each other as kids to any hot girls within earshot! And FUCK I totally forgot Jack used to work with dragons! I'm going to go put that back in his app. He can have done it as a Gap Year or something. It's definitely the type of thing he'd have gone off to do like "THIS IS SO FUCKING COOL" and then three weeks in with his eyebrows singed off and every muscle aching he'll be lying in bed groaning "this is so uncool"

Yeah they'd probably just interact in lessons! Jack automatically likes any kid put in his house so he'd want her to know she could always come to him with a problem, big or small, but very few students are actually willing to do that and he's aware of it! that all sounds perfect, love! haha, jake is so scared of jack, you have no idea. i mean he wouldn't ordinarily be scared of him at all, just as rupert's brother, but as lissie's brother... yeah, he's terrified. more of jack than of the others, because he doesn't really know charles and george at all, so they're just vague names to him, and although he's worried about upsetting rupert and losing his trust/respect and all the rest, he's not actually scared of him. but he remembers jack as head of gryffindor and this authority figure, so jack is definitely the one he'd be avoiding most actively. that's fine for louis and emily too! emily actually gives quite good advice, but she thinks she doesn't, so she'd be quite bemused as to why anyone would come to her for help with that kind of thing. but she'd do her best, and her best would actually be pretty good, since she genuinely wants to help people and is a fan of fairness and supporting the underdog and all the rest. louis... will probably like and respect jack, despite his history of causing chaos in jack's classroom (omg do you remember a really early thread where jack was teaching and louis and a bunch of others were just talking really loudly and louis swung on his chair and knocked a desk over and fell on the floor, and got sent out of the class). and he might actually listen if jack talked since he's a bit more mature and thoughtful these days (i know you wouldn't know it but) and does actually think seriously about his own future at times. okay so adding for your new ones: CHLOE & SCORPIUS: there's nothing really new to add here i don't think? they love each other and have a kind of teasing relationship that mostly involves him winding her up, but they'd probably have each other's backs if they ever needed to. CHLOE & LOUIS: i guess they'd know each other vaguely since louis is dom's brother and rose's cousin? probably on reasonably friendly terms, as they're both friendly people, but not exactly close. CHLOE & RICKY: so as you know, i'm taking over ricky. they were the same year, house and dorm up until ricky got sick and dropped back a year, so they were probably friends? i'm not sure what you had them as previously, but ricky seems to be friends with the other girls in that dorm, so. CHLOE & SETH: and as you also know (at least i think you know?) i'm also taking over seth. who is happily getting off with rose (they are actually officially going out and have been for some time) so as rose and chloe are bffs, i assume she would know him by now. i'm happy for them to get on and be friends, although feel free to have chloe hate his guts if you want, haha. LARA... idk which of my characters if any would know lara? she's coming up fifteen, so going into fifth year, right? which unfortunately makes her not in the same year as any of my characters. and scorpius is the only one currently from her house, and he's way older. the closest i have would be lily, who is one year older and a prefect and a sweetheart, although also a little quiet and shy so unlikely to approach her, but they might get on if we could think of a reason for them to meet? maddy is a year younger, but probably a bit too much of a chatterbox for lara... |

Not that he'd actually do anything apart from bluster at them really, but it's the intimidation factor more than anything. He'll kill him if he fucks Lissie up in any way, but apart from that he'll just be very short with him and try to be scary. He'd definitely come to Emily then, if she's a good advice-giver! I love Emily so much you have no idea. I REMEMBER THAT THREAD! Oh my god, that was so much fun. I want to do another classroom thread now ahaha.

Yes! I love their relationship - Chloe should just see that Scorpius is only ever trying to wind her up, but she falls for it every goddamn time. She loves him though and she'd always be fixing his appearance even if there wasn't anything wrong with it and pretending that she mothers him but in actuality she's too distracted to do it properly and he probably would get seriously annoyed with it if she did anyway. I just adore their relationship ahaha it's so irritable but fond and happy.
CHLOE AND LOUIS
Yes, Chloe likes Louis! He's fun and nice and he's related to two of her closest friends, which is enough for her. He's definitely invited to the twins' birthday party.
CHLOE AND RICKY
Yeah and I'm so excited about that! I'd love them to be close friends if you want, I think those girls are a pretty tight-knit gang, yeah? And Ricky would definitely still be in that in my opinion despite having had to stay back a year - I can't see any of that lot letting her get away just because she did something as silly as having to stay at Hogwarts! 
CHLOE AND SETH
I did know! I'm thrilled about that too! So long as he treats Rose right Chloe loves him (she's got a kind of your-friend-my-friend motto on the most part, so long as nobody tries to muscle in on the entire group), and she'd just treat him like they've known each other a very long time, complete with breezy teasing. If he did anything to hurt Rose obviously it would be another story entirely, but for now he is A+++ in Chloe's books.

Ahah yeah she seems to have ended up quite out of the way!! I adore Lily but I'm not sure whether they'd really get the chance to talk at all? I mean I doubt either of them would end up in detention, and they wouldn't have any classes together. Equally I'd adore to thread her with Emily, but Lara's really not the sort of kid who's going to be approaching any teachers by choice any time soon, so unless Emily had to talk to her about something...? I don't know tbh. SHE'S SO HARD ugh but I love her so much |

Okay, as far as I can telll...
JACK - I think he would have taught Lorcan for sure, and Cara, too, though Lorcna was never really great shakes at DADA, but Cara was a good student, so she might have a very respectful, mentor-y relationship with Jack? IDK, that's up to you, honestly! Once I get Felicity's app up, she'll have him as a teacher, but she really struggles in classes, so idk what kind of reaction Jack would have to that?
CHLOE - I think she'd definitely be close, or at familiar, with Lorcan, since he's good friends with Seb, so I'm going to go with friends? Cara was a Gryffindor, but two years older than Chloe and quiet and studious, so she might not have really gotten to know Chloe very well, though she'd def be very nice to her as a fellow Gryff if they met somewhere else?
LARA - Okay, idk what their relationship would be, but I'm working on the app for Felicity Jordan, who's about a year younger than Lara, I think, and while Sissy's not exactly quiet she's going through her own issues so she might really appreciate spending time with someone who won't talk much, and I'm rambling, but basically if you want to RP them, that would be cool!

Not that he'd actually do anything apart from bluster at them really, but it's the intimidation factor more than anything. He'll kill him if he fucks Lissie up in any way, but apart from that he'll just be very short with him and try to be scary. He'd definitely come to Emily then, if she's a good advice-giver! I want to do another classroom thread now ahaha. all perfect, love! aha, i just remember jack giving out multiple warnings and i just kept going to see what you/jack would do and eventually he was just like WEASLEY GET OUT OF MY CLASSROOM lmao aha, yeah, scorpius does love her to bits though you'd have to drag that admission out of him. and he does find her irritating at times, but not too much since he doesn't have to spend every day with her or anything. and chloe & louis: awesome, haha, i was going to throw a party too, but it was mostly a plot device and tbh if everyone is going to the notts' party that could serve the same purpose. and we might not have time to rp out two parties, lol. yes good! ricky is actually not still at hogwarts haha, she decided she didn't want to get left behind and didn't care about newts anyway, so she left at the same time as them. she's working in a nightclub and at the tamarisk tree and basically works most of the time and parties hard the rest of it. yay, he likes her too in that case! he's generally a pretty easy guy to get to know, plus he has a guitar which is like automatic points in just about every social situation. and he will be trying not to hurt rose, i think it's more likely to be the other way round. ahhh i love lara though. if you get completely stuck though, and want to rp her with any of mine, give me a shout! |

Ellie you have to forgive my laziness here. I'm sick and a cry baby, so I apologize for how much of a mess/lackluster this post is going to be. Now, after that despondent disclaimer . . . Chloe x Damien: I don't think we ever properly sorted through their relationship, honestly. Damien and Seb like to take potshots at one another all the time. I think Damien would like to wind Chloe up, too, but he wouldn't be nearly as good at it as Scorpius is. Also, he's currently going through a horrid breakup, so he may be slightly more open to Chloe, though not much in the slightest because he knows that she knows what it's like to end a long term relationship. She's probably one of the only girls outside of Devyn and Ella that he openly loves. Though the way he shows his love is often skewered, like screwing with her. lol.
Chloe x Roxanne: Well, I think Chloe and Roxanne are those friends by default. Like they have no problem with each other, and when they hangout they're quite the chatterboxes, but they really don't go out of their way to hangout with one another when Ricky or Rose isn't there. Does that make sense? But Roxanne would never hear a bad word against Chloe and would take a pitch fork to anyone who tried to say something against her.
Chloe x Francesca: This may be a slight stretch, but I think Becca, myself, Hope, and Lindsay (she plays Fran's little sister, Zaira) decided that since they all run in the pureblood circle, they've had to deal with each other on many occasions. Fran is about four years older than Chloe, though, so they may know each other in passing, but nothing more than that, really.
Jack x Charles: Best friends, best mates, confidantes, homeboys. Double trouble. Brothers. Haha. Charles loves his siblings - even George, more than they will ever know, but he feels like the biggest failure to them ever. And when I finally get Charles up and running, you'll see that Charles has kind of been off on his own the last year, in therapy. He's trying to deal with some mental health issues that he hasn't told anyone about. When he does show up he'll probably get a kick to the pants by his siblings, but it'll take a whole hell of a lot for him to tell any of them what's been going on.
Jack x Norah: She was a Gryffindor, I think she was a second or third year when Jack was a seventh, so they probably don't really know each other from school too well. But I suppose now, since she is the History of Magic Professor, they have their rows. Pretty good mates? Norah's a bit rambunctious, loves to joke and have fun. She is a single mum, and while she's at Hogwarts, her parents watch her son (he's 14 months). Uhm, hope that helps. haha.
Lara: I don't know if any of my characters aside from Damien would know her . . . and unless she was friends with Ella, he'd probably not take much notice of her. . . he's an ass, sorry. lol. |

His reaction would be very supportive! He's quick to pick up on when a student is struggling because they don't understand as opposed to struggling because they're just not trying, and he might keep her back after a lesson to ask if there's anything up and if she wants a bit of extra help every now and again? We could thread that if you were willing that would be cute! I'm sorry oh my god I just want to throw Jack into every thread possible I love him and he loves the kids so much he just wants them all to be happy and successful so much

Yes please friends for sure! He's a solid guy and they move in a lot of the same social circles I think? So he'd be high on her list of liked people although she thinks his brother's a bit weird. So yes friends yes! And for Cara if she was quite I'm afraid she probably didn't register on Chloe's radar really, she's so wrapped up in her own little world you kind of have to make a huge impact to get her attention properly!
LARA AND FELICITY
Oh that sounds great! I mean I'm afraid Lara's not really going to be very supportive, but she'd just listen to whatever Felicity wanted to say without offering a word of judgement, and she'd never breathe a word of it to anybody. I'll rack my brains and try to think of a way to throw them together, haha. Maybe they get called to talk to the same teacher about some work and happen to get stuck waiting outside the same classroom and just start talking? I mean Lara probably wouldn't talk much but she's not going to just ignore Felicity completely!

Jack has a limit and Louis hit it. Although to be fair he got laughs in the staff room telling the story of Louis falling off his chair for a good couple of weeks. He still does an excellent impression.
CHLOE
There's not enough to say to divide these up, ahaha. Chloe knows she annoys Scorpius, that's half the fun. She wouldn't be able to put up with his teasing so much if she didn't realise how easily she irritated him as well, haha. And yes Ella and I have got it all planned. There's going to be bouncers and candles in the pool and decorations everywhere and champagne and fireworks and the climax of the night is going to be a virgin sacrifice as in The House Bunny. And that's great about Ricky, they're all at the same stage! Chloe will be there for any and all parties (well that's a lie for probably 50% because she has to keep herself pampered) but she's not working so she'll probably come and hang out at the Tamarisk Tree when she gets really bored I'm afraid. Bless Seth. He's just the cutest thing. He can come to the party too. But he has to sing a song for Chloe's birthday present.

Maybe she could write something in an essay for Emily or something that's inappropriate or advanced for her age group or something? I don't even know to be honest. I'm just trying to throw her at threads like I'm sorry she's so useless at interacting love her

CHLOE AND DAMIEN
In all honesty Chloe probably projects a lot of the maternal instinct she has onto Damien, since that's not the kind of relationship she has with Seb and Scorpius would never ever let her try to "mum" him in any way (brushing his hair off his face, telling him off for bad manners etc) - I expect Damien just ignores her 95% of the time, but she'll persist! She's very open with her love for her cousins so if Damien wanted to spend time with her she'd love that, but she's also not going to hassle him into doing so, she'd feel awkward about that. I think she'll probably be able to tease him right back if he tries to wind her up - Scorpius just crawls right under her skin and she can never think of anything funny to say back which is why she gets doubly pissed off, but I think she's just generally less intimidated by Damien so she'd be able to give it back to him, haha. She'd always be there to listen to him if he wanted to talk about his break-up at all, and she'd hope he knows that she'd never ever be teasing or flip about it and would actually be a pretty good person to come to, but she'd understand if he thinks she's not serious enough for that...
CHLOE AND ROXANNE
That sounds perfect to me, and basically everything you said about Roxanne applies to Chloe! Like they're not going to be owling or calling each other every week, but they keep up with each other's news and get along like a house on fire when they're hanging out in a group.
CHLOE AND FRANCESCA
Yes I always imagined the pureblood kids running quite a tight little circle - maybe before school started, and during the holidays and such? Since they might get thrown together by their parents a lot. So yes this sounds great to me - they hang out if they're at an event together and can chat and like each other fine, and they might catch up over coffee if they find themselves in the same city, but apart from that I doubt they interact much...
CHARLES AND JACK
Oh darling Charles - I adore him so much and his family would be so, so supportive of him if he'd let them in  But I understand why he doesn't. Unfortunately Jack will probably be really flippant and pissed off with him for just up and vanishing for a year without telling any of them where he was, but I also don't think it would take him long to clock that something other than Charles just being irresponsible was up. Would Charles ever be willing to tell Jack? Because honestly he'd be so great if he did. I think what I really love about these two is that they have the most laddish relationship ever and they're massive kids but genuinely if Charles had any problem this serious Jack would sit with him for weeks to talk it through and try to help him figure it all out. Regardless please let's thread them soon!
NORAH AND JACK
If she's got a good sense of humour Jack loves her already! Honestly his recipe for a mate is just anybody that doesn't take themselves too seriously, that's a class act right there. She's a fellow Gryffindor so like Emily he'll be sort of shuffling her into his "pack" (which does not exist because he is not cool enough but he can dream) and he might come to her for help with students from time to time, if they've got problems he can't puzzle through himself. ALSO I don't think there are many people on the Hogwarts staff with kids, and I mean Jack doesn't have his own but he's got Lissie, and I think that adds another dimension to a person, you know? So he'll definitely be badgering Norah for baby photos and news of her son and also probably quietly asking her for advice when he feels really out of his depth, since she's a proper parent and he has no clue what he's doing really, although they're muddling through.

i have not much to add. seth will happily sing chloe songs, he is not really very shy about performing, he will even sing seb songs if seb asks nicely.
i'm okay with any threads you'd like for lara! emily would feel a bit lost in dealing with her, but she'd do her best. does lara even take care of magical creatures though? lol

BROOKERUPERT AND JACKYES I think all the Hewers (bar George) have a really good relationship? I imagine the boys as just being so laddish, and Jack loves spending time with Rupert but at the same time doesn't want to be the uncool big brother who tries to hang out with his mates, so he'd most of the time be letting Rupert come to him rather than the other way around! We should do a thread with Jack and Rupert and Charles at some point in a bar or something so they can get happily drunk and tell embarrassing stories about each other as kids to any hot girls within earshot! And FUCK I totally forgot Jack used to work with dragons! I'm going to go put that back in his app. He can have done it as a Gap Year or something. ALSO Lara/Neil: Neil is Will's best friend and so he'd imagine Lara to be a younger sister in many ways. I'm leaving this interpretation open to you but I just wanted to put the link out there Vera/Chloe: They were in the same year in school, and Vera was a hufflepuff. She actually harbored a huge crush on Chloe's brother, but now she's pretty much over it, although back then it hurt her a lot. I don't think it would've stopped her from being friendly though so she'd have tried talking to Chloe a lot of times... Karina/Chloe: A year younger than her, and in the same house. Yes it's very funny. It's the facial expression more than anything though, he doesn't have to fully tip himself over because that would be stupid. And he's not as stupid as Louis. And excellent because Chloe definitely wants someone to sing her a song. Actually you're right, I don't think Lara does take Care of Magical Creatures! Jack honestly doesn't hold anything against his brothers - he sees himself as the responsible one kind of because he's the oldest? So he feels like it falls to him to make sure they're all okay, and he would never be cross with Rupert for bailing, he'd just be worried about him. Bless Rupert though what a cutie. Jack's totally going to pretend he was really badass and great at dragon training and he was for sure alright at it but he just didn't enjoy it haha. He'll be so chuffed that Rupert decided to do it too though and he'll talk up all his experiences at every opportunity. Let's do one oh my god! Or even like a morning after thread so Lissie can be there if Hanna wants her to and all of them are hungover and bickering and it would be amazing

Oh she sounds like such an angel! I would adore if she wrote to him - as would Jack - because I'm just desperate to thread him with some of his students, since they're such a major component of his life and personality. AH YAY someone she really will interact with!! I've been talking about the Archers with Ella and basically Lara is super closed off from everybody at the moment, but she and Will are going to make a supreme effort to reconnect, and once she has him back in her life and she's sure of him again (she still doesn't trust that he's not just going to ditch her again) she'll be contentedly trailing around after him so will probably be over at his and Neil's place, since she'll definitely have known of Neil before but probably won't have interacted with him much? Due to not really talking ahahah. But yes oh my god I'd love for them to get to know each other, Lara will be so grateful to Neil for having taken care of Will. She's so cross with Will but it's because she loves him so utterly and knowing he's safe is what gives her the safety to be angry, haha.
VERA AND CHLOE
Aw poor Vera! Chloe is very used to girls fancying her brother so that wouldn't be a problem! She definitely understands where they're coming from, she thinks Seb is the bees knees. I think they'd get along really well actually, and was Vera friends with Aggy? Because Chloe was so I think they'd probably move in a very similar friendship circle!
