JOURNAL
JULY 6, 2024 AND I'M CONTENT !

Michelangelo had swimming classes, so I took Matteo out to a park. I've included a photograph of the pond / lake and the ducks that Matteo was very keen on feeding bread crumbs to. I also met Jake Gullane and his daughter Skye. She easily made friends with Matteo, bringing him out of his shell, and I'm incredibly indebted to whatever fates had intervened and caused Jake to be passing by that park at that particular time. Matteo seems to be finding it easier to make friends, but someone else would need the initiative, I think.

I passed by a Muggle bookshop and picked up this journal. It's nearly September and I think it'll be useful.

I think things are looking up.
