This is quite flattering, albeit somewhat concerning if watching me is a highlight of yours but you don't want to speak to me in person, but I digress. I'm not actually sure what you're trying to achieve here, but if it was just to pay me such compliments, then thank you. But please, feel free to talk to me in person, because I'm not quite sure who you are (though I'm hoping you're on the team if you watch me practice, because otherwise I think that's probably stalking and our coach isn't down with that) and if you're on the team, I'm always willing to chat! I'd hazard a guess at reserve team or something, though, because I'm pretty sure all of my actual teammates wouldn't send me this? Not that I thought anyone on the reserve team would either

I don't think I know anyone who signs their letters "xoxo", except for maybe the next door boys when they're being lunatics, but it does tend to be feminine, and if that's the case, I'm very sorry, but I don't swing that way. I have a friend who does, though, if you're interested!

It depends, I'd be willing to share the secret, but you see, as previously mentioned I lack the confidence. My amazing, brilliant, and clever little sister told me to just go for it, but I'm a bit thick between the ears at times.

Ah, but i was born with quidditch in my blood. My mum and dad both played; my aunt played professionally for a bit, too. Watching anyone play with your tenacity, of course it's a highlight. I'd like you to know that I fancy you, but i'm too much of a chicken to do anything about it, sadly. I am on the team, I'm a reserve. I just like paying you compliments, it's my subtle hint at me letting you know that I fancy you - i've been holding it in for long fucking time, damn it freddie bit. So there, I said it.

That wasn't very convincing - I've grown up with six siblings, and I promise that none of them would ever call themselves "thick between the ears" in the same sentence they spent saying I was brilliant, let alone to a girl whom they liked.

I still don't know who you are, or why you're doing this - I'm leaning towards a joke or a well-meaning but misplaced plan, though I'm not too sure - because this is a genuinely confusing correspondence for me; I'm much more used to dealing with people face to face, except for my brother, because he's a twat and we argue as much on paper as face to face so it isn't a big deal - anyway, none of that was important, but my point is that if you're actually talking about a real person right now, seriously, letters are not a good way to speak with me.

So, you know what, I tried to do subtle and sweet, but it turns out you're a lot like my brother, which is probably why he fancies you.

Hi, meet little sister, whose big brother is going to kill her. Names Rox, I was the same year as your sister, Moira.. Freddie - your admirer excuse me Fred is on the reserves; he thinks you're kind of fit and talks about you endlessly if we let him. He even makes these googlie eyes and grins cheesely.

I've spent the better part of a while trying to convince him to just suck it up and ask you for coffee, but the plonker is thick between the ears you two have that in common.
