You arse. Don't hear a word from you all hols and you send me this? Thanks, plonker.
I don't like to think about them; they left me, but I can't help but wonder if I look like me mum, if she was a muggle
When I was younger, why?

I know, I'm sorry, I really am. It's just been crazy here like you wouldn't believe and I've had no one to talk to about it and I've finally had a few minutes by myself to think without people hovering and ugh
I just I found my family my family found me. And I don't actually exactly know what to do because There's a slight snag This was never how I dreamed it
They're purebloods, Maria. I think I need help

Kai,
Yeah, yeah, sorry my arse. Now what's going on? What are people hovering for?
Your family found you? How'd they lose you? Your real family?
How? When? What?
You're going to have to rewind and explain. I'm missing a bit of information here.

Dear Maria,
People are hovering because people want to see the long-lost son of a pureblood family. I feel like I'm in a zoo at the moment and people won't let me deal because they need to see me and have a good old prod and pry because oh Merlin, a pureblood raised by muggles. They think they hide it so well
Yes. My blood family.
It was just three weeks ago. I was on the station at King's Cross - right after I said goodbye to you and Maddy? - and I was waiting for Kaycee to come pick me up because I was supposed to stay at his house and his cousin Letty was there. You know her, right? Blonde, Slytherin, seventh year? Anyway, so I figured that we might as well wait together because Kaycee would be bound to say hi to her and stuff so.
And then Kaycee's other cousin, Jethro Hunter (he works at the Ministry), came with him because he was picking Letty up and that's when we first started talking (Jethro Hunter and I). And we were just talking and we got on the topic of the Children's Home and I told him I didn't know who my parents were. Not two weeks later, Kaycee got an owl and was asked to bring me along and that's when he told me. That he and Kaycee and Letty were actually part of my family.
I have a sister. Letty is my sister. It's not sunk in yet and I'm kind of freaking out in desperate need of ice cream.

Kai,
Don't tell me they're those people that think muggles are horrid. I hate those types of people
I think I know Letty, but I'm not too certain. Did she talk to Chloe? I always loved Chloe, though the girl has some seriously mental friends, like that Weasley girl. I'm off topic, but I don't understand.
You just told this random stranger - friend to Kaycee or not - your life story and suddenly he tells you that he's part of your long lost family? What kind of guy is this? He sounds slightly creepy. Trolling King's Cross and talking to random kids. But seriously, how does he even know this? How do you even know that he's right? Excuse me for being skeptical, but it's just . . . a really strange coincidence. How does he know you're Letty's brother? And why are you only finding them now? I mean, my knowledge of wizarding history is pretty sketchy i've got to pay better attention in that class but if they're purebloods, I don't see them willingly letting us muggles raise you. Have you taken a test to prove that they're your family? Like a DNA test? I don't know how they do that here in the wizarding world, though, honestly.
I mean, congrats on the sister, but Merlin - I can barely wrap my head around it. But ice cream sounds nice. I have no money, though.

Dear Maria,
Yes, I think she and Chloe were pretty good friends. As for Chloe's mental friends No comment on Chloe's mental friends.
No! C'mon. He was just curious about why I was staying at Kaycee's house - he's Kaycee's cousin, I think he was just being protective - and it kinda got to the topic that I was at a Children's Home. He works at the Ministry, he's got the resources to do some research, I suppose. I completely get why you'd be skeptical - I was too. The thing is, it's the gut thing, y'know? Trusting my gut and all that.
They only found me now because they thought I was dead. I don't know what happened and why I was in the Children's Home. I don't think they know, either, or if they do, they're not telling me. I haven't taken a DNA test but I think we're having an appointment in St Mungo's next week. I'm not sure it's for DNA testing but it might be.
I know, that's why I need to take a bit of a breather. Please? I need to see some friendly faces I need you I can borrow a Galleon from Kaycee and work it back by running him errands.

Kai,
I think I know who she is then. I'm not too sure. And Chloe's slightly mental, too, so that explains her mental friends, just saying.
Well, what do you expect me to say? You just told me that a random man walked up to you, you explained your life story, and suddenly he's family! That's a bit suspect if you ask me. Kaycee's cousin or not, he could have been a murderer for all you knew! Mum said I had to stop watching murder mysteries, but it makes complete sense Kaycee's a bit shifty himself. I suppose if he works at the ministry he's on the up and up, but then again wasn't there a point when Death Eaters controlled the ministry? I really need to start paying attention I hope your guts right and you don't go missing again apparently.
Wait, they thought you were dead? Trying to wrap my head around this is like watching the telly. I have no idea what's going to happen next. So where are you now?
Oh alright, I have to tell Piper; she's 'watching me' while mum is out shopping and dad's at work. And are you borrowing or stealing because I don't want some over grown tosser yelling at me about stolen galleons why i'm trying to enjoy my ice cream.

Dear Maria,
I think you do, too. Apparently, she looks a bit like me And really no comment on Chloe's possibly-mental friends. She's my friend, too
I didn't explain my whole life story, okay, sheesh. C'mon, dude. I've had enough trouble myself to know what I'm doing. I just told him I didn't have parents and Cam's my brother and of course Jethro knows Camden because he and Kaycee are best mates. That's not even life story. And he was family two weeks later, after he researched it and everything. Gods, Maria, there aren't Death Eaters any more, and I'm not about to go missing, promise.
Well, yes, apparently. Dad Mr Anglesey My father - that is the legit most weirdest thing I've ever written, I think - nearly cried when he saw me. I'm staying at their place for now.
I'm borrowing, c'mon, I don't steal any more. Maybe. Besides, he's family. Really weird shit
Kai
PS. You really need this trip because I can tell you've been hanging out too much in front of the telly.

Kai,
Have I called you a tosser lately - because you're a tosser. Long lost family or not, tosser.
It's not about being in trouble, Kai, it's about protecting yourself. Tosser. Some times it's just you. Kids like us know that more than not. All i'm saying is don't let your guard down too easily. Especially when you're approached by a stranger on a train platform peddling sweets and family members. Just saying. Merlin I need to lay off the telly If you say so. I've never really heard completely great things about old purebloods; i mean they started a war well chloe is a pureblood, isn't she?
He almost cried cos your face is so hideous, poor old man. Find out he has a son and it turns out to be you. You're staying with them? What happened to Kaycee's? least you know him, well you know letty too are you sure they're not serial killers?
Family or not, if you took my galleon i'd beat you over the head.
-Maria
PS: No one asked you. But there's been a really great marathon on of murder mystery things and I can stop any time I want to

Dear Maria,
I'm starting to regret putting 'dear' in front of your name at the beginning of every letter, you know. And no, you've not called me a tosser lately, it was plonker about five letters back.
C'mon, Maria, you know me, right? Would I just let just anyone in just like that? Course I wouldn't. Trust me, I'm pretty good at protecting myself - hey, I've gotten this far. And oh my god, you make Jethro sound like he's got a white unmarked van waiting for me outside and he's just waiting for an opportunity to kidnap me. Calm down, okay?
You're a terror. No, but seriously, I think they're okay that I've been raised by Muggles. I mean, some of the extended family seem to pity me that I didn't have a proper upbringing or whatever, but my father Mr Anglesey he seems okay with it, actually. I dunno. And yes I'm staying with them - don't think they're too keen on letting me out of their sight at the moment. But I have to see my friends so I'm sure I'll be allowed to go out and see you.
Wait, you think I took your Galleon? I'd never steal from family or friends.
Kai
PS. No one needed to. And I can make out 'marathon' in your scribbles and really

Dear Kai,
Feel better? I put 'dear' in front of your name. Feel better, plonker? Or Tosser. Whichever you like better. It's a testament to our friendship. You call me dear, I call you plonker. You know i'm not a sweet nothings type girl.
I'm just saying. I know if it was me and i'd suddenly gained a family i'd be too caught up to think realistically, which is what i think you're doing a bit blinded by the fact that i'd found my family I'd just be on the defensive. People are strange, mate. You can't trust easily. What?! you don't know, maybe he has an unmarked white broom and he goes trolling for the children. You've only just met him! i'm turning off the telly now
I'm a right ol' Princess. Sweet and serene. Completely harmless.
I hope they're okay with your muggle upbringing because nothing's completely wrong with muggles. They shouldn't pity you. You got electronics. Some times magic can't quite keep up with the electronics. You'll be allowed? Or are you running? I don't want a group of grumpy old wizards chasing us down.
No, it's called a hypothetical turning off the cop shows too, plonker.
-Maria
PS: You need glasses.

Dear Maria,
Yes, thank you. And I know, I'd call you something equally endearing but I've not thought up one for you yet. Besides, it feels weird calling girls tosser
I was a bit defensive, but they sat me down properly and explained everything and it just makes sense, y'know? And the gut feeling, that's real important, too. I've not only just met him - jeez, Maria, calm down, okay? I've known him for two and a half weeks and I know it's only a short time but everything's fine.
Yes, yes, keep telling yourself that. Wouldn't hurt a fly. All of the above.
I really think they are. At least, my father is. Some of the older purebloods are a bit funny about it, but whatever, I don't even care, so. You've got that right! Someone needs to find out how to work electronics and magic together. No, I'm not running - far out, I'm not under some sort of lockdown, y'know. I'm a free person. (And if a group of grumpy old wizards had to chase us down, we'd be no match for them, anyway.)
What's a hypothetical? A hypothetical what?
Kai
PS. I have good enough eyesight to tell that you wrote 'marathon'. You'll be the one needing glasses after hours of watching marathons on the telly.

Kai,
Call me anything but Maria and i'll probably hurt you, just so you know. I can dish it, I don't take it.
If it makes sense to you, I suppose so. But that's what i'm saying, Kai, it's been two and a half weeks, Sure you've got a gut feeling, but be careful. You don't known these people. Family or not. Be careful.
I wouldn't hurt a fly. I take offense to that statement. I'm an angel.
You're the Ravenclaw, you sort it out. In he mean time, I'm glad that my parents known how to use technology and use it. But I hope they're pretty okay people. You're a free bird? Are you American now, too? And if a group of grumpy old wizards chase us down, i'm feeding you to the wolves and running, they're after you, not me.
A hypothetical statement - are you certain you're the Ravenclaw in this situation?
-Maria
PS: I don't know what you're talking about it was just thirteen episodes, really. hardly a marathon
