hi there! so this here is jaime, the cousin-turned-adopted-brother of nikolai hartley. he was adopted by his uncle brandon when he was young, following his parents' death in a car crash. it wasn't the ideal situation, seeing as brandon and his wife johanna were recently married and getting ready for a kid of their own while not being in a great fantastic financial situation, but they still took him in and he is forever grateful. fortunately, johanna was soon a renowned world-famous fashion designer and brandon was selected as england's representative on the world's wizarding historian council. val popped up two years after nik, and the three have always considered each other brothers, despite jaime really being their cousin. jaime is an ex-gryffindor. i am open to changing his name as long as you run it past me, and the same goes for the face - off the top of my head, i could also suggest roo panes and aidan turner. as for other characters and jaime, i can offer a best friend in brigid finnigan? ;]i popped him into her app as her classmate that she eventually became best mates with, not that you'd guess it from the way they bickered at hogwarts! and i had them flatting together, but now brigid's sister and her new baby have moved in, so he may have moved out. BUT i am willing to give up all that stuff if it's seriously stopping you from taking on this fella, because as much as brigid would love friends (oh god you have no idea), nik needs his brother more! he's just one of his absolute fav people and i'd love to see him. <333 any queries, just ask!
yo so this is valentin! i imagine him as a gryffindor like nik and jaime were, but i don't mind if you want to change that up a bit. he's very into sports, though; jaime has always been the talented at magic with wit, nik's number one passion is music, and valentin has sport. now that i think about it, their parents have their passions too; brandon is crazy into history and johanna breathes fashion. anyway, sport is val's niche. i imagine he's decently popular, what with his penchant for kicking ass at sport and just generally being great; he's much more focused than nik. i'm not sure if that necessarily applies to him as a focused person but his years of sport have taught him about focus and determination and motivation, which is something he helped nik out with when nik was bombing his classes, because nik is a chilled out cheery little peacenik who has no observational skills, or focus, really. anyway, i don't mind if you want to change the face claim - i think nathan's wonderful but i am always open to suggestion. again, if you have any questions, hit me up!

deucalion, nicknamed duke by his sister amara, is the yaxley heir and has a whole heap of expectations piled on him by his parents, namely his father. an ex-slytherin, deucalion has always been paraded about the pureblood circle by his family like some sort of show pony - and when i say family, i mean his yaxley grandarents as well. his paternal grandfather is the reason behind deucalion, so i'm sure duke is very pleased with him. honestly, i don't mind too much how you imagine deucalion as long as he is the heir, an ex-slytherin, very close to amara and has always been pressured; i imagine it can be quite difficult to come into oneself with everyone else around you having different expectations of what you should be. his siblings love him no matter what, though, and he should know that; also, his maternal cousins, the selwyns, are pretty chill compared to his family and i imagine he probably found comfort in that, though that would be up to you and anyone who picked up a selwyn (currently only hanna, but i think everyone should be fighting to make one tbh because they are utterly fabby) - face pictured is sean o'pry because i think he's handsome and refined enough to pull off the whole "i am perfect" look, because his parents kind of think he pretty much is. he's six years older than astraia - very much a head boy sort of type, i think? just a general overachiever, though whether that's naturally him or something he felt pressured into is totally up to you! basically, just hit me up with any questions or interest at all! i'm willing to talk things over ahaha <33
so this is amara, astraia's gooooorgeous older sister. they don't look alike because amara takes after her father's light colouring and mother's facial structure, whereas astraia inherited her mother's dark colouring. anyway, amara is the secondborn and is very close to deucalion - who she nicknamed duke when she was younger - which is understandable, due to their one year age gap and often being thrust together at functions and whatnot. she and deucalion have been showcased all their life and i imagine this has led to them knowing each other best and having bonded over their experiences. i just imagine those two siblings as like best friends okay this is how astraia considers them but that would be totally up to whover played them, really! i do require that they're really close, though, like they know each other very well? it's important for the family dynamics, really! amara's stunning, which is accentuated by her eye for detail, and i imagine she was quite the queen b during her hogwarts years, but that's up to you as well. amara has always been adored by her mother, who is rather image-conscious and delighted in such a beautiful daughter, so i imagine that amara definitely knows how to play the perfect princess, but her hogwarts years and real personality can be completely different, if you wish! i think it could be really interesting if amara was much more wild than the refined slytherin pureblood princess she appears to be, but i also think that she'd be equally as brilliant as the reserved beauty that knows exactly how to play a crowd. if there's anything you have questions about or whatnot, pm me please!
waaah so this is kol and i am super keen to have him like you have no idea. he is an ex-slytherin like his siblings, and would have dormed with albus potter, scorpius malfoy and sebastian nott, so if you take him i can promise threads with albus, at the very least! and he was also second cousins with both scorpius and sebastian, so you should not have any trouble finding people to rp with! anyway, for those of you familiar with the phrase "the heir and the spare", well, he's the spare. he knows it, too, and he and astraia have always been close because their lives were always less pivotal in regards to the yaxley family than their older siblings. he's the best brother anyone could ask for, in astraia's opinion, and he's the person she trusts most in the world as well as her best friend. now, kol, after realising that his parents didn't necessarily want him as much as his brother, made something for himself; he made himself wanted. he's charming and charismatic and funny and i imagine he's one of those charmers who people can't help but love a bit, even if they don't necessarily want to. he's always had astraia's back and has always loved his siblings fiercely, even when they don't necessarily need him to. astraia sometimes thinks he could be a gryffindor with his willingness to fight for those he loves. i just love this little charmer to bits, basically, and so does astraia, and albus totally could too <333 the playby is open to change, just let me know, and any questions or interest, just flick me a pm or post below! xx i am one thousand shades of keen to get kol made, basically.

waaaaaah hello, welcome to jason! mmkay, so this would be younger brother to leo robins and cassie lewis - different surnames because their parents never married and they just sort of chose which one they wanted, really. their parents are pretty chill. jason is the suggestion because of the mythological/stars-y theme their names have going on - their mother is a pureblood, but the names are mainly due to their father, who's a muggle archaeologist and completely nuts over history. anyway, jason is a year younger than cassie, and leo is two years older than cassie. ever since leo started hogwarts, the kids have been based in england while their parents gallivanted off around the world, leaving jason, cassie and leo in the hands of house elves and a live-in nanny named elsa. as the youngest, jason travelled less than the other two so he may still have the travelling bug (until moving back to england, they'd spent their whole lives travelling) but he also knows his parents less well than cassie and leo do, having spent slightly less time with them. pearl and i discussed him, and we envisaged him as more sarcastic and cynical at times (compared to his siblings, anyway) because of this, but we're pretty open! the guy pictured is colton haynes, so he's the suggestion, but the main targets are dark haired and fair skinned (his siblings being grant gustin and alison brie, after all) so if you have a different playby preferred, i'm sure we'll be willing to listen! i pictured jason as a gryffindor like his siblings, but that could totally also be discussed as well. basically, just post below or flick pearl and me a pm if you want to talk about/ask anything!
