Yeah, I'm well aware that it sounds unbelievable because it's me we're talking about, but it did happen. He was an extremely good kisser, let me tell you. You know how you said it depends on the boy? He was definitely one of the good ones. He was also really sweet, so that was sort of surreal. Yeah, he paid for lunch, and then we went for a walk in this nice Muggle park and talked under a tree and ended up kissing. And stuff. You know.

Also, what's this I hear about you and Caleb planning a dinner that you want me to attend even though Julian will also be there? What's the occasion for the four of us to get together, anyway? Not that I won't come - I already told Caleb and Julian that I'd be fine with it, but I'm just surprised that he's the one who filled me in on these plans before you.

No wonder he's a good kisser but wow he must have been amazing for you to let him give you a hickey jesus christ. What kind of stuff exactly are we talking about?? How far did you guys go? Oh my god, how much did you let him see? I'm glad he made you happy though! I hope you're feeling better now after that?

Right, that thing. Well, it was Caleb's idea, but I've decided that I may as well have it be my early birthday dinner and since my parents are throwing me one of their typical huge muggle parties on the actual day, I thought it'd be nice to have a quiet dinner with you guys. And Julian. Who I'll make sure only comes if you want him to. Promise.

I'll be informing Caleb he needs to bring me a gift (cough) next time I write him, though.

(Also, in case it wasn't clear, I'm expecting details of this date that ended with at least one hickey!! Don't disappoint me.)

Okay, sounds brilliant! And I’m perfectly alright with Julian coming, seriously. He wrote to me, and we’re fine, I think. Oh, and are you mad at Caleb about anything at all? I won’t tell him if you are, but I’m just wondering. And by ‘just wondering,’ I mean that Caleb thinks that you might be and apparently he told Julian and Julian wanted me to ask you what’s going on. Julian also said that he doesn’t think you’re his biggest fan, and while I’m aware you two aren’t particularly close, is there something else I should know? You didn’t write to him to threaten him or anything, did you? Because the Astraia thing doesn't really matter anymore. Not that it ever did, obviously.

I think Caleb is confused about what to get you I’m interested to see what Caleb gets you!

Wait, wait, wait, how far did you let him go while he thought you were of age?? Not that I'm discouraging this, or your newfound confidence around boys, but take it from me and don't build anything around a lie, okay? I've shown you those muggle teen movies, and it never ends well. But still, I'm proud of you! I expect every detail when I see you, and I will hold you to that.

If you're positive, then that sounds great, Julian's invited. He'll make it a real party, I'm sure. I'll send you the address of my favorite muggle restaurant. It's gorgeous and has delicious food, but it's also pretty fancy, so dress nicely!

And no, I'm not mad at Caleb. Why would I be mad? That's quite an interesting chain of gossip you've got there, just saying. No, I'm cool with Caleb. He was just...well, he was flirting with me, and. Well. It's just weird, because I'm pretty sure he didn't learn my name until maybe two years ago, and I have a pretty good memory, you know. I just get wary when guys suddenly start flirting with me after not knowing me at all despite going to the same school for three years. But it's nothing, it's all fine. Don't tell him I said this, by the way. I know you wouldn't, but just to be clear, he doesn't need to know. Just tell him I'm fine with him. 

As for Julian, well, I did write to him but he wrote to me first and I may or may not have yelled at him but that was a while ago, I promise. Julian doesn't think anyone is his biggest fan. Probably because no one is, except maybe Caleb. I know you like the guy, but he's kind of an asshat to everyone else, you realize that, right? And yes, of course, the Astraia thing is water under the bridge, promise.

Ainsley, that was meant to be a hint for you to get me something. And yeah, I'm interested, too, but you know me, I like gifts for the surprise. I'll be happy with anything you guys get me, I swear.
