jade marianne pereira

character info:

jade's a 25-year-old employee at madam malkin's robes for all occasions. she's been through a lot in life, but she's come out of it with a smile on her face and pretending everything's okay. she's very friendly and talkative, and will probably be nice to you unless you've done something really really awful to her.

friends:

i'm definitely looking for some new friends for her. most of her old ones aren't played anymore... neil and will are probably the people closest to her at the mo though. i would love for her to make some more friends because she's essentially plotless atm.

enemies:

she really dislikes her employer because no matter how hard she works, she's always belittling her and putting her down. she also isn't on the best of terms with her mother though she's working towards that. the weasley family may dislike her because of the relationship with teddy though that's completely up to their players.

lovers:

jade's had a few boyfriends over the years, though none really serious. her last relationship was with teddy lupin and it took her a while but she's definitely over him now. i would adore some plots on this side too, of whatever nature.

character info:

adé is a nineteen-year old, and a trainee healer. she is... not very social, to put it mildly. she prefers to live in her world of books and set routines, and anything that breaks her routine comes as quite a shock to her. she's quiet and hardworking, and doesn't generally talk much to many people, though she's trying her best not to shut people out nowadays because that's never helped her in life.

friends:

adé takes a lot of time to warm up to people. she'll be polite if you talk to her, but only a few people really know her. she doesn't make friends easily, but when she does, she's extremely loyal to them and would do anything for them. again, atm she has like no friends, so i would love her to make some new ones. maybe even someone who can grow close to her?

enemies:

oh... she might have a lot of these. she's really quick to antagonise people, and if they don't have beliefs similar to hers, she'll tell them in no uncertain terms what she thinks of them. although this has stopped to a great extent now, sometimes the judgmental bitch in her comes out again and then she believes she can tell people what to do and that she's always right. so maybe someone with some leftover dislike from her hogwarts or beauxbatons years, or maybe even someone she rubbed the wrong way at the hospital? totally up to you guys.

lovers:

she's never really believed in love, until she fell for one neil pereira. they've been dating for about a year now, so no plots on this side..

character info:

dhruv is a happy-go-lucky, always optimistic boy. he's always looking for the bright side in any situation, and he's your go-to guy if you need cheering up. he may seem quite laid-back and uncaring, but he's actually quite studious, and during lessons and exam times, puts school work before everything else.

friends:

everyone. dhruv likes making friends, and he tries to be friendly with everyone in his year/house. he's very close to his sister tanya and cousin vivienne, despite them being two years apart. being the kind of social, cheerful boy he is, i would think he would have a lot of friends and definitely even some really close to him.

enemies:

i don't think he'd have too many enemies because he doesn't willingly antagonise anyone, but maybe somebody who finds his cheerfulness annoying or some such?

lovers:

dhruv's quite the flirt, and starting from his fourth year onwards, he's had quite a lot of flings and casual relationships with girls. he had his first proper crush in fifth year and hated the feeling of it. he kind of wants a proper relationship, with commitment and romance and all that jazz, but since his first crush kind of ended in disaster, he will probably be more cautious when looking for commitment. he also has quite the way with girls, so i imagine that he'd have a fair few flirty friends/snog buddies and such even currently.

character info:

siobhan, or bonnie to her family members, is a slytherin going into her fifth year. she grew up in a large family and has always felt like something of an outcast, with the feeling intensifying as she became the only slytherin in her family. she has crippling insecurity issues, but she doesn't let anyone know of them for the most part, and what most people see is a smart, snarky girl who doesn't seem to give much of a damn about anything.

friends:

siobhan would probably have a lot of casual friends because i think she'd be quite fun to be around. however, she's always worried that her friends will leave her if she says or does anything stupid. her very best friend is a boy in her year, in ravenclaw. he's been helping her with work since fourth year. i would love for him to be played, but siobhan would definitely have a lot of friends besides him, too.

enemies:

siobhan tries her best not to make enemies, but she often gets paranoid that someone dislikes her when they really don't. for the most part she doesn't do much outwardly to piss off people. but there could be people who take a dislike to her, for whatever reason.

lovers:

siobhan really wants a boyfriend. she feels like having one would be a form of validation for her, and she would have someone aside from family who loves her unconditionally and would not leave her even if she was being annoying or infuriating. obviously it's quite a narrow view, lol. maybe she can get into a relationship and realise it's not all it's cracked up to be? i would love for that plot to happen with her. as for past romance, she's never really had any crushes and she's not the flirty type, sorry!

hugo is a shy, awkward sixth-year hufflepuff. he grew up around a lot of older cousins, but despite that, he's absolutely awful at conversing with people. he's not the best at school, being more interested in muggle photography and filmmaking, and plans to study at a muggle university after he leaves school.

friends:

like i said, hugo is rubbish at striking up conversations randomly with new people, so he might have gained a lot of his friends through things like being partnered for class and such. he's a nice guy though, once you get to know him. so.. you can try to be friends with him, but it really depends on the situation whether it will develop or not.

enemies:

hugo tries not to make enemies. tries. he thinks he annoys people because of his awkwardness, and he probably does at times, but he doesn't hold much ill will towards anyone except people who hurt the people he loves. even then, he'd never act on it.

lovers:

hugo is a romantic through and through. he believes in 'the one' and true love, and he tries not to fall for random people on first sight. he's never had a crush on anyone and never been in a relationship, but i am up for plots, fosho.

character info:

hecate is twenty-four and a translator at the ministry. she's very sarcastic and brutally honest, but at the same time she likes being around people and socialising. however, her aforementioned inability to resist snarking at inopportune moments and her honesty probably turn off a lot of people.

friends:

if you can put up with hecate's attitude, she instantly considers you her friend. it's a done deal. she doesn't have many friends, but those that she does have, she's very close to.

enemies:

hecate is very quick to judge people, and at the same time, many people probably dislike her because of her smart mouth and her refusal to lie to keep someone satisfied. so probably a lot of one-sided dislike from both ends, but she has probably made some honest-to-god enemies as well.

lovers:

for a time in her fifth year, hecate went through a rebellious phase when she snogged a lot of guys and even went somewhat further with some of them. however, she's never had sex and doesn't plan to. also, she has been given an ultimatum to decide who she'll marry, and her mother wants her to decide as soon as possible. she doesn't particularly want to get married, but she doesn't want to disappoint her mother, either.. so she probably won't pay much attention to men unless they're purebloods and someone she thinks her mother would approve of.

character info:

kol, as he prefers to be known, is the third and by far the most outgoing yaxley child. he was in slytherin at hogwarts (though the hat almost placed him in gryffindor) and has just graduated. he's currently floating, searching for a job opening at the ministry in his favoured position.

friends:

kol was and still is a very charming, friendly person. he socialises easily and picks up new friends fast. his best friend is his sister astraia, and after that comes nikolai hartley, who he lives with. other than that, though, he probably has a lot of friends in varying degrees of closeness.

enemies:

can't really imagine him actively disliking anyone, but considering he was in slytherin, some of his housemates might have found him very annoying because he does not act like a typical slytherin - at all.

lovers:

kol hasn't ever really had a serious relationship. he's had various flings on and off over the years, though, ever since his fourth year. he never really goes out looking for them - he just takes them if he gets the opportunity. however, he is currently crushing on someone so no current plots, but past ones are always welcome!

character info:

alice is a loud, outgoing sixth year gryffindor girl, who also happens to be twins with abby longbottom (to both their regrets). she's generally very social and at the forefront of every activity, but in her fifth year, she went through a withdrawn phase when she was diagnosed with trichotillomania. now, starting her sixth year, she's trying to become herself again, which means that you can expect her to make herself known as loudly as possible.

friends:

alice probably had a lot of friends in her first four years, but she grew apart from a lot of them in her fifth because she was afraid she'd be called a freak due to her disorder. she still did have some non-judgmental close friends, though, i'm sure.

enemies:

pretty much anyone who's really good friends with abby would fall into this category for alice, as most of abby's friends believe alice to be annoying. in addition, her stubborn nature and insistence on trying to fix matters wherever she can could put some people off too. then there are the people who don't actively dislike her, but are simply distasteful of her because of her disorder (most think it's just a weird habit).

lovers:

until now, alice has only fallen for one guy - a guy in her year, but she fell for him hard, and still feels slight butterflies when she sees him. she's rather jealous of abby's experience in this department, and she also kind of wants to experience the 'physical' side of things... so future relationships once term starts would be lovely.

emily is also short of friends (she doesn't even have a fiance yet, but hanna is working on that one ) so i'd love to keep their friendship, despite no muirin or kenzie (pippa exists though so you never know, we might even get a kenzie back...)! i'm going to go and log on to emily now to answer ver's owl, so maybe em could send jade a letter?

idk if jake knows neil actually! i shall have to talk to brooke on that and get back to you, but it's always possible. i should probably find out quite quickly actually, since jake is currently sitting in a park talking to brianna, cheerfully oblivious to the fact that she's not a muggle.

louis doesn't mean to get into drama, it just happens to him *shakes head sadly* - actually he's amazingly drama free right now, haha! but yeah, good friends for him and louis, and vague acquaintance-type relationship for lily sounds good!

i also have some new babies, so i'll throw some of them in too...

seth would have been the same year as ade and i have him as being friendly with neil! he was a gryffindor, and their paths probably wouldn't have crossed much at school without neil, since seth was a bit of a party-boy, but as he's friends with neil, maybe they could be sort of casual friends? although he's into parties and having a good time, he's actually not as loud and mad as many gryffindors, when he's not drunk he can be quite quiet and thoughtful. he doesn't always take much notice of the people around him, but i'm pretty sure he'd be nice and friendly to neil's girlfriend, and he has excellent manners when he makes an effort...

and on that note, he'd probably also know jade as neil's sister? i can't imagine them knowing each other hugely well, since seth and neil aren't like bffs, and the age difference is quite big, but friendly acquaintances?

ricky is a year older than dhruv, but dropped back into his year from fifth year onwards (although she's now decided to drop out, so she's left). she hasn't changed much from her previous incarnation, and will still flirt with anything that moves, so it really depends what dhruv's reaction to that would have been...

seth&jade: aw, no, he doesn't - he works in the muggle world. so i think he'd literally only know her as neil's sister, and possibly not even really know her if he saw her, just her name.

ricky&jade: HOWEVER ricky does work on diagon alley, some of the time, and also lives on diagon alley, and her mum owns the tamarisk tree, and ricky is good friends with will. so she might know jade? i know ricky's way younger, but now she's 18 and out of school, they could socialise a bit more? at least know each other to say hello?

ricky/dhruv: ooh, these guys would be fun to plot in a casual way some time then! (i'm not really looking for anything beyond casual for ricky rn, until i get used to playing her at least). ricky adores people who flirt back with her. and they definitely could have messed about a bit in the past if you want?

also i absolutely adore siobhan, she's the cutest, but i don't have many characters who would interact with her sadly. lily is two years older than her and the wrong house. maddy (who will be made eventually) is a year younger than her, and also in the wrong house. though if siobhan's best friend is in ravenclaw, i guess she might have come across them? and in terms of family connections, jake knows both cara and brigid i believe, but i don't know if he'd ever have come across siobhan, and if he had, i don't know that they'd have had much to interact over - she'd just have been brigid and cara's little sister...

JADE + TOBIAS ; he's my oldest at 24, so maybe they've seen each other around school? i'm not sure what house she was in (i don't remember, sorry D:) but tobias was in ravenclaw...

JADE + VIVI ; parvati works at madam malkin's as clothes designer, so i'm pretty sure jade has seen vivi around a bit for whatever reason, coming in to madam malkin's to rag at her mum to buy her something, whatever, things like that probably acquaintances or whatever, i don't think they'd talk too much hahaha

SIOBHAN + VIVI ; both slytherin fifth years i'm guessing they'd be pretty good friends as they're dorm mates, and vivi would always try to be there for bonnie ^^

SIOBHAN + KAI ; kai is friends with meghan, so maybe he and siobhan have heard of each other, or even decent friends? he's going into fourth year ravenclaw, so i don't think they'd see too much of each other

HUGO + ANGELO ; they're both sixth years (expt angelo's in gryffindor) so they'd have seen a fair bit of each other during classes and stuff, and angelo would love to talk to him ^^ he probs thinks that hugo's got a lot of interesting things to say and just doesn't know how to say it

HUGO + KAYCE ; i'm guessing they wouldn't be on good terms because kayce went out with rose and broke up with her?
